Management Team
DubLi is proud to have a team of top professionals as their management team.
Michael Hansen
Founder of DubLi, President and Chief Executive Officer of MediaNet Group Technologies, Inc.
Michael Hansen is the Founder of DubLi,
President and Chief Executive Officer and a Board Member of MediaNet
Group Technologies. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of MediaNet
Group's BSP Rewards subsidiary. Mr. Hansen gained his valuable
experience and innovative prowess from his work in a variety of
internationally recognized creative environments. Mr. Hansen holds a
degree in mechanical engineering and in the late eighties and early
nineties worked as a developer for the Danfoss Group. Later, he was
recruited by LEGO and was responsible for theme world development.
There he spending most of his time designing and creating the highly
successful "Space" LEGO product line, which later developed the Star
Wars products. In 1996, Mr. Hansen took his career to the next level by
developing one of the most successful franchise restaurant chains in
Denmark. Mr. Hansen later sold his franchise and pursued a career in
the Network Marketing industry. While working in the Network Industry
Mr. Hansen achieved the highest position in two separate US-based
network marketing companies, in telecommunications and financial
services. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Hansen founded his own direct selling
company focused on specialty wines from around the world. Mr. Hansen
began his entrepreneurial career at an early age by building and
operating a chain of successful dance nightclubs in Denmark.
In
2003, Mr. Hansen visualized the idea of DubLi as a powerful market
player in the rapidly growing eCommerce market. After careful
examination and considerable studies of the 'reverse auction' model, he
concluded there was an even bigger opportunity for growth in the
multi-billion dollar consumer market. He envisioned showcasing the
best-selling, in-demand products and services from the most well-known
and reputable companies in the world; only those with a household name
would qualify. The key to success would be in the ability to drive
customers to DubLi.com's auction website. He felt that buyers would bid
in the auctions…only if the products and services had instant appeal and
credibility to the consumer. Convinced that DubLi.com could become a
huge success, Mr. Hansen began assembling the collective talents of
computer programmers, software engineers, web designers and graphic
artists. There were plenty of trials and tribulations along the way
because everything had to be designed from the ground up and the concept
of building a 'reverse auction' portal for the consumer market had no
predecessors as a guide.
Today, Mr. Hansen oversees the direction
of MediaNet Group, DubLi and BSP Rewards and acts as a motivator for
the fast-growing number of business associates to ensure their continued
success. As a business leader, Michael Hansen sets high standards for
himself and others. Alessandro Annoscia
